Dennis is a thirty-seven-year veteran of all aspects of engineering simulation software and services (CAE), from R&D through sales and marketing management to executive leadership. Prior to joining CD-adapco (New York and London) in 2005 (where he is currently employed half-time as VP of Business Development), he held various executive positions in the CAE world including CEO of VC-backed Engineous (Cary, NC), Senior VP of Worldwide Sales and Support at MSC.Software (Los Angeles), where he build revenues from $25M to $130M, VP of Marketing at Fluent (Lebanon, NH; now part of ANSYS), and most recently VP of International Business Development at Blue Ridge Numerics (Charlottesville, VA).
Earlier in his career, he opened the first German office of Cincinnati-based SDRC (now part of Siemens), was an Assistant Professor at Princeton University, and developed the commercial CAE software system ASKA/PERMAS at the University of Stuttgart's prestigious Institute for Aerospace Structures.
Dennis is an engineering graduate of MIT (BS, MS) and the University of California, Berkeley (Ph.D.)
